nationalledger.com — Former Arizona Governor Fife Symington ridiculed an unexplained event that took place in the skies over Phoenix ten years ago. An event now commonly known as 'the Phoenix Lights' is actually a compilation of events and unexplained sightings that took place on March 13, 1997 from the Hoover Dam on the Nevada/Arizona border all the way to Tucson, Arizona and at several points in between. The most publicized of the sightings that night came at around 10:00pm. Many witnesses saw and videotaped an array of lights that appeared over the desert southwest of Metropolitan Phoenix including CK Rairden who contributes to this report. Some believe those lights were flares, others are not quite so sure. Those bright orbs, and the other unexplained events of that evening are now commonly known as 'The Phoenix Lights.' read more...

dandare.wordpress.com — In case you might not be aware, the Uk has been inundated with UFO sightings for a while now; the start of the year seemed to be normal, with a standard amount of reported UFO sightings in the media, and online. So it seems the catalyse came on May 14th, when the MOD released 8 ufo files (each one a pdf file, consisting of many sightings); they are still available for download from the National archives website (please see the national archives for the files you can download) however, now a small fee is charged. These cover the years 1978-1987….. thanks must go to David Clarke, Joe Mc Gonagle and Gary Anthony for actively pursuing the right for all of us to see these files. There will be more files to follow. read more...

walesonline.co.uk — Less than a fortnight after reports surfaced about South Wales Police pursuing a “flying-saucer shaped” aircraft, after it zoomed over St Athan Ministry of Defence base in the Vale of Glamorgan, the Gazette received a phone call from an Abertillery man claiming to have spotted a UFO. The man, who did not wish to be named, said he was amazed to see an unexplainable flashing craft in the sky above his Gladstone Street home. He said: “About 12 o’clock I was dozing on the chair when my wife woke me up saying to come and have a look at something. herald24.co.uk — The unexplained aerial objects were spotted "merging with a larger light" last month. The report of the strange phenomena, on June 10, is not the first time the town has been 'visited'. In May the Herald revealed how Ministry of Defence chiefs released previously top secret files, dubbed the British X-Files, documenting a close encounter above the town centre. The report, from 1987, relates to a similar sighting in which a Hertford resident described seeing a UFO for around two hours with the naked eye and through binoculars. It was said to have no "shape or body" visible, but was described as a "bright white glowing light" which spent "sometime (sic) hovering and at other times moving north". read more...

walesonline.co.uk — LEADING “alien hunters” today called on police to release more information about the South Wales UFO sighting. A Nasa expert and top professor said hearing details from two officers and a helicopter pilot who claimed they saw a “flying saucer-shaped” aircraft would allow people to make their own judgements. The helicopter and its three-man crew were at 500ft above RAF St Athan in the Vale of Glamorgan on June 7 waiting for clearance to land when they spotted the other craft hurtling towards them from below. read more...

dailypost.co.uk — ONE of Britain’s greatest UFO mysteries deepened last night after a new witness emerged after 34 years. The Government allegedly covered up the “Welsh Roswell” incident, in the Berwyn mountain range in 1974, after scores of residents reported a massive tremor, strange lights in the sky and “Men in Black” scouring the area. Claims that aliens crash-landed and their bodies were then transported by the Ministry of Defence to the top-secret research base Porton Down in Wiltshire were dismissed by Whitehall officials. read more...

realufo.naeborra.com — On 8th July at around 8pm residents in Tel Aviv, Israel, reported their skyline from east to west was alive with activity causing panic throughout central Israel. One witness said: "My eldest son turned my attention to a bright object that left a long trail, crossing the sky from east to west. It was white and radiant, and it shed a bright, strong and shiny light." The witness said at one point he could no longer see the light that divided the skies. "As I am a man of exact sciences in my professional life, I don't believe in aliens. It is possible that it was a case of a meteor that entered the atmosphere, but it does not appear that way. In any case, it was a beautiful site.". read more...
