Hundreds of Alien Planets That Could Support Life Found by NASA

NASA's Kepler spacecraft, made to look for other planets similar to Earths that could support life, has found 706 planets that very well may be able to do just that. The Kepler has found well over 150,000 stars with planets that orbit them that have been found to be just about the right distance from the stars to be Earth like. Scientists use very strict tests to make sure that these planets are the right distance from the stars to have water, that they could potentially have life, and even intelligent life. "This is the most precise, nearly continuous, longest and largest data set of stellar photometry ever," said David Koch, the mission's deputy principal investigator at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif., in a statement. "The results will only get better as the duration of the data set grows with time." Kepler currently monitors a star field in the constellations Cygnus and Lyra. The stars make up a full range of temperatures, sizes and ages. Many of them are stable, but others pulsate. In this particular star field, Kepler has identified 706 planetary candidates, of which the data for 306 of these were part of the public data release this week. The Kepler observatory will continue searching for Earth-like planets, including those that orbit stars in a warm, habitable zone where liquid water could exist on the surface of alien planets. A lady whom we will call "Archana Gupta" was watching television while laying in bed at 7pm on Friday, March 18, 2002, when out of the corner of her eye she saw a strange object hovering outsider her 9th floor apartment in the Himayathnagar of Hyderabad, India. Interviewed by Anup khanna of Star News, she described the object as a charcoal grey metallic device about 15-20 feet in diameter with black struts hanging from each end. She said she was "astounded and ran to the window". The UFO seemingly reacted to her movement by first moving slowly eastwards, then swiftly ascending to the clouds. She called the two appendages "pipes" which were about five inches long. The UFO had no seams and she could not hear any sound as her window was closed and there was no balcony on that side of the building, so she could not go out to observe more closely. She estimated the UFO was no more than ten feet from the window which faces north. She estimated the total observation lasted 15 seconds. All her neighbors were either away at the time or were elderly and no one else reported seeing anything. Ms. Gupta told us that it was dusk, overcast and cool. The UFO had sharp edges. The area is near high tension power lines and a hydro-electric substation. She waited two months before calling the police about the sighting.Her disbelief in what she saw made her wait to report the sighting.

An American professor believes it's high time universities seriously study UFO sightings. "Millions" of sightings are reported each year, noted anthropology professor Philip Hasely. "It's about time we looked into this as a worthy area of study," he tells the Buffalo News. "It's important that the whole subject be brought out in the open and investigated." Hasely, who teaches at Niagara Falls state college, heads the Western New York Mutual UFO Network, which investigate UFO sightings. He's aware that many may scoff at such a "nonsense study." But "we'll refer you to voluminous literature and facts about UFOs," he said. The belief that alien intelligent life may exist has high-powered backers. The astrophysicist director of the Hayden Planetarium in Manhattan said researchers have failed to make contact with ET life despite years of effort, but points out that humans have barely scratched the surface. He compared the effort to people scooping up hundreds of glasses of water from all the world's oceans and concluding that no fish exist.

Video taken of strange objects in the night sky over Turkey has been deemed authentic-well, at least by UFO researchers. A night watchman shot the video over multiple nights earlier this year, and it shows hovering craft and strange constellations of lights, the Sun reports. A self-described expert who verified the tape says "physical forms of UFOs and their metallic structures are clearly noticeable." What's more, the researcher said, "in the close-up of some footages of the objects, entities in them can be distinctly made out." The institute that carried out the verification (for the record, it's the Sirius UFO Space Science Research Centre in Turkey) said no fakery or computer animation was involved. The man who turned in the two-hour tape was overjoyed. "I was very excited when I saw them and I want the world to know that UFOs do exist."

Roswell is the most well known UFO crash in History. Here is the full story of the events that happened at Roswell, New Mexico in early July, 1947 William W. "Mac" Brazel was a stereotypical cowboy , although he actually tended sheep. He was foreman of the Foster Ranch in rural Lincoln County near Corona, New Mexico. Brazel was married, with children, but his wife and kids lived in Tularosa, New Mexico, near Alamogordo (so the kids would be near a good school), while he mostly lived in an old house out on the ranch where he worked. From all accounts, he was happy with his life, riding the range and tending the sheep, shearing the sheep and selling the wool. Pictures from that time show a man who might have stepped out of an old Roy Rogers movie, a real cowboy. He was the type who would tip his hat and say "Howdy, ma'am!" when he passed a lady on the street. On the evening of either July 2 or July 4 (the various sources disagree) there was a severe thunderstorm in the area with lots of lightning. Mac had often wondered why lightning struck the ground repeatedly in the same spots on the ranch. He wondered if it might mean that there were metal deposits underground at those spots and probably considered doing some prospecting in the area. But this time there was a different sort of sound amid the booming thunderclaps. Mac later said it sounded like an explosion. Two of Mac's children were staying with him at the ranch that night, as they often did, but they didn't notice the "different" sound. The next morning, July 3 or 5, Mac rode out as usual to check on his sheep and to "ride the fences". A seven-year-old neighbor boy, William D. "Dee" Proctor, accompanied him. Dee Proctor loved riding horses more than anything, so he rode with Mac whenever he could. Riding south of the ranch headquarters, they suddenly came upon an area about a quarter of a mile long and several hundred feet wide that was strewn with debris, shiny bits and pieces unlike anything Mac had ever seen. The sheep refused to cross the debris, and had to be herded the long way around to get to water. Mac picked up some of the material andcarried it with him back to the ranch headquarters, where he put it in a shed. One of Great Britain's most significant Military-UFO incidents happened at Rendlesham forest in Suffolk on three consecutive nights in late December 1980. Rendlesham is a vast pine forest east of Ipswich that is near Orford Ness. There is a prominent lighthouse (of which we will discuss later),as well as some other buildings that were situated on this island. In 1980, they were rumoured to be operated by the National Security Agency (NSA) - one of the US's most covert intelligence units. Stories of Top Secret experiments were rife, although the official function of the buildings was given as a site for research into 'over the horizon' radar. Gordon Levitt lived in an isolated house on the edge of the forest in Sudbourne. On December 26th, 1980, he had been out in the garden with his dog when he suddenly looked up and spotted a peculiar object flying towards them. The UFO looked like an upturned mushroom with a greenish-white glow. The craft soon silently passed them and carried on towards the twin NATO air bases of RAF Woodbridge and RAF Bentwaters. The next morning, Levitt's dog became ill - cowering in its kennel as if afraid to come out. Its condition worsened and it died a few days later. By the east gate of RAF Woodbridge that night were US Air Force security patrolmen John Burroughs and Budd Parker. They soon spotted the strange craft and at first thought that it may be a plane about to crash, however they soon realised that the craft was hovering downwards and eventually landed in the woods. They could see a pulsating mass of coloured lights, described by witnesses as looking like a Christmas tree. Burroughs quickly phoned the base. It was 2 a.m. and there should not have been any aircraft in the vicinity. Within minutes, security patrol sergeant Jim Penniston was on his way by jeep, driven by Herman Kavanasac. Once they arrived, they too saw the strange craft, lights were flickering through the trees and Penniston, who took command, tried to persuade Burroughs and Parker that a plane had crashed and was blazing out of control. But the two patrolmen knew that what was out there had landed and not crashed. Budd Parker stayed at the gate while the others entered the forest. There was some kind of strange electrical field pervading the woods, the radio contact with the base began to break down. On 20th November, 1952, a Polish immigrant by the name of George Adamski and six of his friends made an expedition to look for UFOs in the Mojave desert in California, USA. Shortly after having lunch, as the group scanned the sky for activity, a gigantic cigar-shaped craft glided into view. Hoping to get closer as well as a better spot for pictures, Adamski and two of his friends set off deeper into the desert. Adamski managed to take several photos through his tripod-mounted portable telescope, and wandered alone trying to get clearer shots. Before long the silent silver craft rose up into the sky and rocketed into space, but this was not the end of the encounter. A few minutes later another, smaller craft appeared, and glided between two mountains which were ahead of Adamski. As he watched he noticed what he thought was a man beckoning him from about 400 metres away. But as he was about to find out, this was no ordinary man. 'The beauty of his form surpassed anything I had ever seen,' Adamski later recalled. The humanoid figure stood at approximately 1.6 metres tall, with long blond hair and smooth tanned skin. He was wearing a brown one-piece suit with a broad belt, and red shoes. The being was also witnessed by his friends who were standing a few hundred metres away. Adamski motioned to shake hands with the being. Palm-to-palm contact was made, and they both began to communicated with each other by using telepathy and sign language. The visitor indicated that he was from Venus, and his name was Orthon. He came with a message to warn humankind of the dangers of nuclear energy and pollution. He also expressed a belief in God and claimed that he and his fellow Venusians lived a pure and spiritual life. After refusing to be photographed, he stepped into his craft and floated into space. Have we, the human race back-engineered alien technology as a ways of ensuring that we would, at least, have a fighting chance if we were invaded by alien beings? That was the belief of Major Philip J. Corso who stumbled upon alien artifacts sent from Fort Bliss, Texas on 6th July, 1947. He had come across a Corporal off limits in a warehouse and was just about to reprimand him, when the Corporal said 'You won't believe this'. 'What are you talking about?' asked the Major, taking a look inside the open crate. There was no need for the Corporal to answer. The crate, one of several, contained the body of a being, the like of which Corso had never seen before. 'At first I thought it was a dead child they were shipping somewhere' Corso later claimed. 'It was a four-foot, human-shaped creature with...bizarre-looking, four fingered hands...and a light-bulb shaped head. The eye sockets were over-sized and almond-shaped and pointed down to its tiny nose, which didn't really protrude from its skull'. Corso looked through the paperwork that accompanied the crate, and found an army intelligence document that described the creature as an inhabitant of a craft that had been retrieved from Roswell, New Mexico, two days earlier on 4th July, 1947. As he shone his torch around the warehouse, he noticed that there were over 30 similar crates stacked against the walls. Major Corso quickly covered the crate with a tarpaulin, and moved outside. He turned to the Corporal and said 'You never saw this and you tell no one'. As far as Corso was concerned, that was the last he ever wanted to see or hear of the crates and their strange contents. But fate would see that their paths would cross again. By 1961, Philip J. Corso had risen to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in charge of the Foreign Technology desk in the US Army's Research and Development division at the Pentagon. This is the story of what one person on this video calls the Chinese Roswell. It is certainly a very fascinating story that could possibly mean that China was the sight of alien encounters thousands of years ago. Perhaps these alien encounters have something to do with the modern reports of alien sightings? In 1938, explorers went into a cave in China and when they went in they were stunned to find what looked like a graveyard. That wasn't the only thing that they found though. They also found over 700 stone discs. These stone discs have come to be known as the Dropa Stones. Over the years as the Dropa Stones have been examined the scientists believe that there is writing on the discs that tell the story of alien visitations in China thousands of years ago.

It isn't just the American government that tires to cover up proof of alien life. Straight from the start of this UFO video about the famous Rendlesham Forest Incident, one of the experts flat out says that this is Britian's Roswell. Watch the video and you will certainly see what she means. In 1980, with the cold war still raging, the British military bases, RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge had become home to the United States Air Force. Life changed for some of those airmen at 3 am on December 26, 1980. Soldier John Burroughs, then 20 years of, was on patrol at RAF Woodbridge when another solider picked him up in a truck to drive around as part of their patrol. This patrol took them into Rendlesham Forest. They weren't long into their patrol when the other solider noticed a light in the sky of Rendlesham Forest. In this UFO sighting video about The Rendlesham Forest Incident, John Burroughs, talks about the light in the sky involving a series of different colored lights. The soliders rushed back and got help from other soldiers who came out to investigate. They all thought the lights resembled the ones that they would see if an aircraft had crashed. John Burroughs and Jim Penniston got back in the truck and proceded to head towards the light in the sky. Eventually, they had to ditch the truck so that they could walk deeper into Rendlesham Forest. In this UFO video about The Rendlesham Forest Incident, Jim Penniston talks about suddenly feeling an electric charge in the air as the approached the object. When the pair got close to the object they two could not believe what they were seeing. Jim Penniston had the presence of mind to take out his camera and start taking pictures of the the craft that they had found. He took notes that night, which can be seen in this UFO sighting video, that described the craft. He even touched the UFO and felt the warmth of the craft. Suddenly, a sharp flash of life came out of the UFO craft and it lifted itself off the ground and quickly disappeared.

An incredible story has come out of Arizona in which several witnesses believe they made contact with a large group of alien creatures. If the story is true, it easily stands ahead as one of the most incredible stories of its kind in the past ten years. It seems typical today, but holds many of the hallmarks of a classic tale of alien interaction by witnesses. But is there any way to know if it's true? Witnesses claim the whole thing was caught on videotape. It all began as a group of friends were driving down a stretch of highway near the Palo Verde nuclear plant were searching for UFOs with a video camera when suddenly they say a massive light in the distance caught their attention hovering over the road. As they approached they realized the light was attached to a massive triangular craft above the road with windows all along the side and several lights around it. The windows for the most part were blackened, but as they watched some of the windows became suddenly transparent and within they could observe alien beings standing and looking down at them. When judging the height of the beings based on the distance and size of the windows, they estimated some of the creatures were no less than 9' tall. These creatures were standing staring out at them as they stopped their vehicles and one witness sat in the car videotaping the whole event. The witness holding the video camera got out of his vehicle along with another and approached the craft as a platform lowered down and several tall beings walked out toward them. Suddenly, as the creatures approached the two who were standing outside of their cars, one of the observers left behind started to scream as a tall thin pale creature with large black eyes held out its hand and touched it to one of those standing. The four human witnesses and this mysterious entity communicated telepathically for approximately fifteen minutes according to the report they submitted to MUFON. Included in the conversation were the aliens' declaration of peaceful contact with the four of them and that they would come to no harm. Almost instantly all four felt relaxed as this claim came to them. It also spoke to them of global warming, and claimed that in the near future a massive disaster would hit the world. Dear Readers; For many of you, this story will sound like something out of a Science Fiction movie, or somewhat exaggerated. It is not my intent to deceive you in any manner, nor to write of something that is not true. The events which are described below, are true and accurate to the best of my memory. Although the exact time/date may be somewhat off, the account of the events is accurate. I was on my way home from work late in June of 1995 (to the best of my memory). I was driving down a street named Clemson Avenue, located in Greenville, South Carolina. This was a route that I normally took everyday, on my way to and from work. This particular day was different. It was approximately 6pm EST, when I noticed a strange object by the roadside. The object appeared to be of a humanlike form, greyish in color, and stood no more than three feet high. It had a teardropped shaped head, with large, dark eyes, no nose, and a small mouth. The figure had no decernable hair anywhere on its body, and no type of genitalia. The figure did not appear to have any clothing on, and the body seemed skinny in proportion to the head. There was no ears, a very short neck, and comparatively short arms, with hands and fingers. I did not count the fingers, but there were at least four per hand, possibly five, but the fingers were very skinny and very long, with the tips of the fingers extending to the figures knees. Not being totally sure of what I had just seen, I put the car in reverse, backed up a few feet, just to make sure. The figure was still there, staring back at me. There was no mistake, it, the figure, was there, and it was for real. Although I have always been interested in the unexplained (i.e; loch ness monster, aliens, ufo's, ghosts, bermuda triangle, etc.), this event terrified me. Why, I don't really know, but I was genuinely scared. The figure wasn't doing anything, it wasn't even moving, and I almost felt like it might be a stuffed toy, but I knew that it was alive. I rushed home, about 5 minutes from where I was, burst in the door, and ordered my wife to come with me. She got in the car, and we hurried back to the point of the sighting. The figure was gone. Captain Ray Bowyer Talks About his Sighting

The case of Captain Ray Bowyer has to be one more the most talked about cases of a UFO sighting in recent years. This UFO video is a very detailed investigation of the Ray Bowyer case and includes very detailed discussions with both Ray Bowyer himself and UFO experts. On April 23 2007, Ray Bowyer was flying a passenger plane from the South coast of England to the Channel Islands. This 45 minute flight was one that Ray Bowyer had done every working day for nearly 10 years. So, he wasn't expecting to see anything out of the ordinary but things turned out very differently for him. About 10 miles south of the Isle Of Wight, Ray Bowyer spotted what he describes as a brilliant yellow light. At first he thought the light was simply a reflection from the sun off of an object on land. However, the light just wouldn't go away. It was then that Ray Bowyer picked up his binoculars to get a closer look. He could make out a shape and says that the object looked nothing like an airplane he had ever seen. The interest that Ray Bowyer was paying to this possible UFO alerted the passengers in his plane, Ray Bowyer handed his binoculars to one of the passengers who then reported to see a second UFO in the sky behind the original.

62 Kids All Witness Alien Sighting

Why would 62 kids lie? That is what one woman in this alien sighting video asks and it is a very good question and one without an answer. In 1994, these 62 kids were students at a school in secluded Zimbabwe. None of these kids had ever heard of UFOs and they weren't influenced by western pop culture images of aliens. Yet, each one of these 62 students reported the exact same alien encounter and each of them drew very similar pictures of the aliens they encountered during their UFO sighting.
